At POEVE, we live and breathe 'Made in Italy' excellence, offering designer footwear made with love for style and beauty.
Hailing from Veneto, Italy—a region steeped in the rich shoemaking tradition—POEVE is an independent, family-run footwear house. Founded in 2012 under the name Poesie Veneziane and guided by a father-son team of Gabriele and Sebastiano Conte, today we have evolved into POEVE—a global brand with a refined expression of modern Italian spirit and style.
Italian shoemaking is at the heart of POEVE. As an independent family-run business, we proudly collaborate with skilled producers who share our values and dedication to artisanal quality. Each pair is designed Veneto and handcrafted in workshops across Italy, where generations of skilled hands bring a deep understanding of materials and craftsmanship. Every stitch, cut, and finish reflects our passion for Italian design and footwear crafted to be lived in and loved with every step.
We strive to be a genuine brand that creates positive change in the industry by making quality products that last longer. That’s why we choose leather over artificial materials for its natural superior durability. Our leathers are sourced from top Italian tanneries, all rated silver or gold by the Leather Working Group for their sustainable and ethical practices. All POEVE shoes combine soft leather insoles for comfort and breathability with extra-light rubber soles for everyday wear or premium leather for a touch of luxury. With the launch of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, we proudly unveiled POEVE—a fresh new name for our cherished brand, formerly known as Poesie Veneziane. By combining the first letters of Poesie Veneziane into POEVE, we honor the brand’s legacy and celebrate our Venetian roots, while embracing a modern, forward-looking identity that positions us on the global fashion stage.
